Man Utd in for Tevez - Transfer rumours!

Hi people, it’s been a while since I posted, mainly because we sealed all our transfers so early. But this weekend a new prospect arrived on the scene. That prospect is none other than Carlos Tevez. The Mail on Sunday led with the story, stating that Ferguson has demanded we investigate the possibility of us signing him.

Such a deal would be fraught with problems. Firstly there is the circus that surrounds the player. When 2 of the brightest talents in Argentinean football arrived for West ham most fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing. It all seemed too good to be true and indeed it later emerged that it was. If a further transfer were to go through United would want categorical proof that West Ham own Tevez outright, with everything done legitimately to prevent any FA comeback in the future.

The second problem and an altogether more serious one is Inter Milan. Whilst it is reported that united are prepared to fork out £12 million for Tevez, Inter say that they are willing to pay up to £34 million. It doesn’t take a mathematician to work out which bid the owners (whoever they may be) would choose.

I suppose it all boils down to how much Ferguson really thinks that Tevez is the answer. The Scot is rarely wrong in his purchasing decisions and as we know, he normally gets his man, so watch this space!

from technical perspective Tevez could be the right partner for Rooney. He got the pace and the ability to deliver

i think he is not the type of striker tht we need. The finishing type of huntelaar, eto'o or torres would be definitely great for manutd. in fact, tevez is a player tht has the same style of rooney. and i dont think he would like join us. wht do you guys think?

As you probably know, José Mourinho’s former Club is being investigated for corruption.

After 3 years of investigation, the President of the Club as finally been acused by the Attorney General for crimes of corruption during the time that José Mourinho was the Manager of the club.

The case relates to the game Porto-Estrela da Amadora, on the 24th of January 2004 (the year José Mourinho won the Champions League).

The referees of the game were corrupted with prostitutes, by the president of the club and a close friend, António Araujo.

Some say Tevez plays too similiar to Rooney. They're probably just as good looking as each other too! I'm sure we'd hear a few chants about 'pies'. But who cares? Who'd complain about having 2 Rooneys up front?
At the same time if the option became available Torres would be my 1st choice. I sense he'd bring an extra dimension to the attacking options.
Moreover I believe Smithy (as much as he shows determination) lacks the clincal ability to hit the net regularly for United & England.

Well it now looks asthough Saha is out until November/December time. This indicates to me that United will have to step up the chase for a forward. I cant see Tevez signing as inter are prepared to pay alot more. Im hopeful for Torres but can see Hunterlaar signing personally

i don't know. i think he'd be pretty fuckin' amazing. he's definitely a play maker and a goal scorer. he's sort of a paolo di canio type and i think he'd do great at utd. what's the asking price again?
