United reach crucial part of the season

I missed all the Champions league action last night, it seems that Liverpool pulled off one of the results of the season, I would definitely prefer to ply them over Barcelona any day! Chelsea’s championship chances were also hindered when John Terry was stretchered off with ankle ligament damage.

In other news it appears that Ronaldo injured himself kicking water bottles after he was substituted during Tuesdays match with Lille. The Portuguese superstar was apparently fuming at being hauled off for Saha and reportedly kicked a water bottle in frustration. Let’s just hope that he is okay for Saturday’s clash with Fulham.

The fixtures come thick and fast over the next 2 weeks. We have ties against Liverpool Reading and Lille to contend with in what promises to be yet another defining period in Manchester United’s season. A victory against Liverpool would surely ease the uncertainty as to whether or not United can break Chelsea’s strong hold on one of the world’s most lucrative competitions.
