United stay 6 points clear at the top of the premiership as Chelsea fail to win. Mourinho’s stuttering side seem incapable of getting the victories required to win the premiership for a third successive time, whilst United march on in their crusade to bring the title home.
Mourinho has yet again taunted Man Utd stating that United haven’t taken advantage of Chelsea’s stuttering form this Christmas and instead of his fans being worried, it should be United fans that should have the concern. Sorry Jose, your team has drawn with 3 teams from the bottom half of the table and only just scraped wins against Everton Wigan and Newcastle, for me the trouble is much closer to home for the blues. For me all that really matters is how Utd are playing and although we are winning games I still believe we can step it up a level. We have conceded 4 goals in the last 2 games, considering our defence has been watertight in the past I hope this is a temporary glitch rather than a long term problem. We know we can score, but tight defences win premierships.
The FA cup provides a brief respite from the premiership onslaught. We face Villa for a second time, but this time at Old Trafford. The Swede should provide welcome cover for a tireless United side and I look forward to seeing him score some great goals.
All is still quiet on the transfer front. We have a month to bring in reinforcements so I wouldn’t expect a rush in the first few days to sign players. I am actually beginning to think that we have a very health squad, perhaps 2 or 3 additions would be all that is required to compete effectively in all competitions, for me it would be Hargreaves, Nani and a new face I discovered on youtube yesterday. His name is Bojan Krkic and he plays for Barcelona B. Just check out this goal he scored… fantastic!

i have to admit...mourinho has a point...we really should have capitalised on chelsea's mistakes. but it hasn't happened and i still think we will push them all the way and bring the crown home.
