United’s crucial game against Chelsea has been moved to 9th May. This represents good news for the Reds as Chelsea face fixture congestion worse than our own. Of course there is the added bonus that the league could be well and truly wrapped up by then, allowing us to rest key players for any finals we may still be in.
Chelsea’s resolve is still strong. They still believe they can catch us to seize a third premiership title in a row, a feat that has only ever been achieved by Manchester United. Winning is the only option now, dropping points at this late stage would be disastrous. But something tells me that this group of players are treating every game like a cup final, you can see their hunger, that desire to win silverware.
I think we are back to our best. Although we only won 1-0 on Monday I think it was more down to our poor finishing than anything else. Wayne Rooney had two one-on-one’s which, on his day, he would have tucked away confidently. The defence splitting passes came with every attack, the ball was moved with an air of confidence and you just knew that every pass would find a man.
Today I reflect on the journey of this blog. As an online marketer I started this blog as an experiment. I set myself the target of getting top place in Google for the phrase “Man Utd blog”. The problem was I enjoyed writing about my club too much and instead of being an experiment, it became more of an obsession. When people started commenting I realised we had a great group of like minded fans who posted intelligent well thought out comments and so it has flourished.
So to the likes of Radio Deadon, Jesus Rodrigo, Time killing Kid, Marlowe Diego (great posts recently Margowe), Andrew M, Gerard, eddiie, Clonefunkasaurus and all you anonymous posters thanks for your contributions, it wouldn’t be the same without you! P.S if I’ve missed any others off I’m sorry, but thanks to you guys as well.
I look back at where United were when I started the blog. It was time when we still had Van Nistelrooy, Carrick was still at Tottenham and (as far as the press were concerned) we were a team in decline. However we thought differently, we knew that this was our season, we had every faith that our illustrious manager would do the business and yet again he hasn’t let us down. As we approach the run-in life is once a gain great for us. This team can rule for years to come and this blog will be documenting it every step of the way!

We'd all like to thank you Agent for facilitating the best football blog on the planet. BIG THANKS.
Right back to business.
I see Mourinho is moaning about the fixture pile up facing Chelsea - arsehole - I bet Wenger and Benitez wish they could be moaning about a similar scenario! "Injuries, bad ref's decisions, fixture pile up" - FUCK OFF JOSE! Just admit that there has been a better team in the league this season MANCEHSTER UNITED. And we'll be even hard to catch next year!
A big Deadon to the lot of ya!
And it's good to see SAF still has plenty of passion. Did you see his alleged 'interview' with some smarmy Sky git who just didn't know when to take f*ck *ff for an answer - brilliant!

thanks agent to you! it's been a great way for me to stay connected to all the news and views. have one good mate out here who i occasionally get to watch games with but other than that i'm in a sea of NFL, NHL, NBA and...worst of all, NASCAR! i refuse to pay for cable TV out here cuz most of it is crap, so i don't get to watch Fox Soccer Channel as much as i'd like...wish there was a way of only paying for Man U games - perhaps when they've finally sorted out Internet TV.
bloody good think we've got so far in the champs league too - i get to watch more games!
i can't even begin to explain how excited i am for the next month or so of football. the amazing thing, or rather the dramatic thing, is that we could end up with nothing. that's what makes it so compelling and why i can't take my eyes off it. in a way, i'm glad chelsea are so close, and i'm glad we are (sort of) the underdog.
Now, in response to some of your thoughts of summer tranfers (!!): i think 25m for berbatov might actually be better than 25m for a player whose never played in the premiership. plus Eto just seems like a bit of a primadonna while berbatov just seems to get on with it..and score!
either way, berbatov's agent has done well. get a little bit of cash now, and if he does well sell him on for even more. if he hadn't worked out nobody would have complained.
what a fun summer it will be!
just had a look at the ronaldo penalty against woodgate. he's really quite a smart player. if you look close you can see that he does the right thing of crossing woodgate's line but he trails his right leg out behind him (possibly preparing to shoot) which is what woodgate bumps into and he goes down....that's why he's not a diver but a really smart player.
Yr ManUtd blogs hv surpassed all expectations. Keep the ManUtd blogging alive!
When the luck continues, it surely shows from the re-arranged games fixture. The mind games will continue to pour from the Bridge n JM. The mental strength & hunger shown by the whole ManUtd squad this season is exceptionally excellent n will carry the team to success. Glory2 ManUtd!

Chelsea won't catch Utd in the prem I think the gap is big enough - but hopefully they will keep the pressure on - we need to be playing at a high level of intensity to remain in all compeitions and having Chelsea snapping at our heels will ensure that.
Keep up the blogs.
By the way United are linked with Dutch striker Klass Jan Huntelaar.
