Fergies first eleven. What is it going to be?

It seems that Tevez is now prepared to force a move through to United by writing to FIFA expressing his concerns. It seems that this has the potential to run and run, especially if the courts get involved. I wouldn't count on him being here when the season kicks off in less than 30 days time.

This has been one of the hardest summers I can remember. Yes it's great that we have signed all these fantastic players, but boy I can't wait for the games to start. It will be great to see Fergie showcase all his new talent, especially as we are by far the strongest team in the league.

Liverpool have spent big on Torres, but to be honest I never really rated him in the first place. He's a good player but in all honesty I would take Tevez Rooney or Anderson over him any day.

This year it will be vitally important that we come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders. We know that Chelsea will be strong, we know it will be tough. Liverpool I'm sure believe that they are also in with a chance, That is until they go through their usually dodgy spell before Christmas and spend the rest pf the season playing catchup.

Thanks to everyone who commented on their dream formation, it makes really interesting reading. I am going to stick my neck out and put forward my best 11. Please feel free to rip it to shreds!

VDS

Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra

Hargreaves, Carrick,

Ronaldo Scholes Anderson

Rooney

Subs: Foster, Heinze, Nani, Giggs, Tevez

Scholes to pus forward and drop back as required, he would be rested and Tevez to replace him. Rooney and Tevez to interchange being the hole player linking midfield to attack.

Anderson on the right in the mould of Ronaldinho. I see him breaking on the left and cutting inside creating space for Rooney. Scholes would also play those clever balls into space for Anderson and Rooney to terrorize the wingbacks. Nani and Giggs can replace Anderson as required. Note Anderson will not play the majority of games but I think he will shine when he plays.

The key to Ferguson's success this season is how the team interchanges positions. We saw it last season, where each player up front changes positions throughout the game. This makes it virtually impossible for the opposition to man mark any of our attackers. Adding the likes of Nani, Anderson and Tevez only strengthens this style of play.

Now it's over to you. Am I talking rubbish, or is this the team to lead us to the quadruple? You decide.

I dont care for quadruple by Manu but i desperately want to see this new, strong, deadly and versatile looking manchester United Team to keep the EPL 2007-08 and win the Champions League for the season which they have been trying hard to win unsuccessfully.
As far as the Carling Cup and FA Cup are concerned, it doesnt really matter whether the two come to Old Trafford or not as the wins in EPL and Champions League will be a great tribute to this 50 Million Plus spending Spree by Manchester United and above all the Almighty SIr Alex Fergusen

Three Cheers Manchester United !!!

My Line up:

VDS

Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Heinze

Hargreaves, Carrick,

Ronaldo Scholes Nani

Tevez

Subs: Evra, Foster, Anderson, Giggs, Rooney

I have pipped Tevez for Rooney because of the goal converting Ratio that of Tevez being higher than Rooney and because of the fact that though Rooney has scored 23 goals this season, he missed as many oppurtunities as well.
Tevez and Rooney can interchangeably used upfront and Scholes Giggs and anderson can be interchangeably used.
Besides it will be a pleasure for nani to play with his Portugal counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo. The two will be exciting to watch.

Besides we just need one more good keeper. I wonder if that signing would be done in the next summer transfers. since Schimeichel MANUTD has had a scarcity of good reliable Keepers. Van Der Sar though good has been Error prone at times. A good keeper will only confirm MANu`s chances of making a quadruple. Nothing else will.
With the signings this year that MAnu has done the Team looks "A KILLING TEAM-RED DEVILS"

i too think youve got it about right there with hargreaves and nani holdig and supplying balls in and ronaldo given a free role to support alongside scholesy i dont think many shall live with us long and those who can in the shorttime will b run out well b4 giggsy n carrick take over and with fresh legs too up front in tevez im feelin sorry for defences everywhere in europe like everyone else in the red of united i cant wait till we see our idols again beware mourinho you aint even gettin close this time hahaha

yeah i agree with the formation used.but i think instead of anderson in the first eleven, i think fergie will choose giggsy instead because he is always awesome in the first half of the season, thus his experience.but im sure there will be lots of rotation in the squad especially the forwards. Now, im glad tt we finally have good players(anderson, nani, heinze, fletcher tevez brown) to replace the ageing or injury-prone players(saha park solskjaer). Every season, there will possibly be at least 1 or 2 important players who will get injured, so im glad tt fergie has brought in good players who can step up to the occasion. however, im just worried tt the new players cant click together with the other first team players.. and i hope that the current squad can build on the teamwork that won us the title last season. Cheers!

My A Team (to play in PL/CL etc): 4-2-3-1 formation
VDS
Gary Rio Vidic Evra
Harg/Carrick Carrick/Scholes
Ronaldo Rooney Nani/Giggs
Tevez/Saha

Subs: Heinze, Park, Anderson, Rossi, Kuz
Giggs, Rooney & Ron to keep interchanging. 2 outstanding anchorman/creators in Scholes, carrick or OH

This formation can at will transform into 4-4-2 with Rooney partnering with Saha/Tevez up front and Scholes & Carrick coming in mid field.

Even the B-team is strong enough to get into top 6 in the league

Kuszak
Pique Brown Evans Silvestre
Nani Fletcher/JOS Anderson Park
Rossi OGS
Subs: whoever is left!!!

This team can play in Carling & initial rounds of FA cup etc.
