So it's official, Owen Hargreaves has finally completed his move to Manchester United from Bayern Munich. The fee is rumoured to be in the region of £17 million, a record for a bundesliga player. For United it has been a long time coming but we knew it would happen eventually.
I will write a full article on this tomorrow with links to all the newspaper articles, but I just had to get the word out now as quickly as possible. Yesterday was a real bummer and Terry really wound me up when he said his team had the fitness after 90 minutes to push on for the victory. What utter rubbish, neither team played well, but I thought we edged it in extra time. They took their chance and fair play! It was a drab match with neither team playing well.
Guess what Chelsea? We're the Champions. Roll on next season, Hargreaves and Carrick to rule for years to come!

This year's FA Cup finals ending
"The Goal that never was".
Was the ball over the goal line before Cech stopped it? OR
Was it thru Giggs momentum that pushed Cech(& the ball) over the goal line?
Bottom line is it was one of the most boring finals at the new Wembley. There's no attacking flair and pace from the team. Very cautious from both sides. Steve Bennett, the ref, may hv played into Mourinho's pre-game tune.
Anyway, the premiership trophy stayed at OT for now & one of the biggest achievements for the club this season. Finally Hargreaves will be at OT next season to boost the midfield further.
Hope that we can get Berbatov for next season. We need a "fox in the box" to vary the attacking options.
OH finally makes it to OT! The saga (which caused me to discover your blog in the first place) is over! Perhaps those Kleberson and Djemba-Djemba nightmare days can be forgotten now...
The Final was a poor display of football from both sides, although why Mourinho should be applauded in some sections of the press for his 'tactical acumen' (does playing mediocre football and getting lucky count as tactics now?) is beyond me. United were knackered. Chelsea were... Chelsea.
I'd also like to pat myself on the back for winning the FF league, and look forward to defending my title next season!
Unfortunately, its not official that OH is coming to ManU..He's yet to sign his contract and there has been no statement from ManU officials claiming that the deal is done..i was really happy to hear the 'kaiser' say that OH is leaving Bayern, but i'll only be reassured of his signature when i'll see him in a united shirt putting his signature on his ManU contract..there's also some confusion concerning our chase of Nani,as some newspapers and sites like skysports has said that he has put pen to a new 6-year contract with his club sporting with a release clause at 20m,but yet again no official statement from sporting..
