Manchester United get Lille in the Champions league

The draw has taken place in the Champions league and we have got Lille, aguably the weakest team in the competition. This is good news and I would now expect us to progress into the quarter finals.

Liverpool face Barcelona so I guess they will be leaving the comeptition early lol!

Mourinho travels to his old team Porto!

Off topic but "Giggs wants Hargreaves at Man Utd" (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/6181925.stm)
I think it's likely the Canadian/German will be at OT in Jan.

Haven't posted in a while but I'm back. Anyway, wondered what people think about Dong Fangzhou. He's just got his work permit and will be a proper united player from jan, after we signed him 3 years ago for 3.5mil as an 18 year old from a Chinese club, Dalian Shide.

Anyway, do people think that he can bring something or is it just a marketing ploy.

Personally, I think he looks a decent prospect. He seems strong and is certainly quick. His technique looks good, so I'm looking forward to seeing him in action. Obviously marketing is there, like with Park, but who could argue that Park is not a talent. I think Dong is equally direct.

Finally, great news on the CL draw, we deserved some luck but I think we've learnt our lesson regarding complacency.

Cheers

I can reveal that Manchester United is reportedly having private negotiation with Real Madrid over the transfer of David Beckham in the January transfer window

I am afraid that it is just false hope that we are going to win the Premiership title this season. Judging by Fergusson's post-match comment that he was happy despite the result at West Ham, we have no chance at all. What messenge Ferguson has sent us is that the standard for his team has dropped and this is not the temperament and respond the fans would like to hear. As fans, we want to hear that he is angry that we could lose to a struggling team in West Ham. How could we?!! We can better pray Mourinho is not right that his team has not peaked but still managed to come back from behind to win the game at Goodison Park. We usually do better in the second half of the season but I am not too sure how much we can still improve as I agree with Mourinho we might have peaked already. I hope I am wrong too. Ferguson and his team should explain rather than giving excuse because we lost a game we shouldn't. If we don't score, in which we should, and if we don't get 3 points, in which we also should, he shouldn't be 'happy'!! You tell us you are happy doesn't tell us you are defiant because we are not defiant to know, but it was just a smack in your own face!! I now demand that you shouldn't be happy if we don't get 3 points and also take the fucking trophy back to Old Trafford! Chelse this plastic team deserves nothing!
