States that the Tottenham man is to move to old trafford today after he completes a medical. The fee is up to £18.6 million and represents a great bit of business for Tottenham who will now have more cash to spend in the Transfer market>
What does everyone else think? Is this a good signing for Man utd? Is he worth £18.6 million? Or is this Fergie simply becoming fixated on one player?

you are inclined to think that he is a world class player who will bring a lot to United and many Tottenham fans are clearly gutted about the sale. It's a tough one, I think Jol will struggle to find someone with Carrick's talent even for £18 million.
