Personally I feel this is somewhat cheaky by Martin Jol as this would put Martin Jol's valuation of Carrick at £25 million based on Utd's valuation of Ruud. However with Tottenham unwilling to sell this is the price United may have to pay if they are to prise the tottenham man away from white heart lane! I would rather Ruud went abroad than stayed in the premiership as I am sure he will score 20 a season when he is first choice and content!!
